[Dickens' Second Adventure]

This MUST have taken ages

Yeah ok so there are glitches in the game and the graphics aren't great, but considering the sheer size of it I don't think you've done too bad at all.

The people who are slating this I don't reckon have really considered how much work would have to go into making a movie like this one. Ok so the graphics don't compare to the likes of the Romp stuff but neither do my own.

Iron out a couple of things and I reckon this is deserving of a high vote.

Best of the bunch

We've seen quite a few of these DJ things, but this is definitely the best made of the ones I've seen on here.

A nicely designed interface, good sounds (which all go together), and once you get the timing right you can make a decent sounding tune.

It'd be nice if there we're more choices, ie. several choices of bass line, different beats etc. Maybe that's a thought for an addition?

Could be good

But you've got to do lots to it. Why not have the sight following the cursor (but still wobbling a bit to make it more difficult). I like the idea tho, a little like that Sniper Scope arcade game would be cool.....although it'd take ages to make.

It's a good game, makes you think a bit in order to finish it. Definitely expand it, maybe make some harder puzzles?

To those who are asking how to play the game, that's the point......you have to figure it out. However, for the aol user, on the question mark where it says press enter, it also has a code first. This is U5 R9 U2 L5 D6, at least it was in my case. Think of these as directions starting from the Red square. When you get to the last square press Enter.

It's been worth the wait to see this, as others have said, better to delay and make a decent job of it than release a shoddy video.

I personally look forward to voting on your next two fighters. Just a question, why not release just one movie with both fighters in and make the vote link back to your page. If you're not sure how I can show you.

However, the easiest way is to have two different pages with a webcounter on each. Each page represents a fighter, whichever gets the most hits.......an alternative is an email vote of course.
